Oh, I hear noise in the begining, that is realy annoying! I understand that it is connected with synth but IMHO this is not good. Yes, i hear there your own style, but "there is room to grow"(i du no is correct this proverb here).

LunacyEcho responds:

An annoying noise? Uh oh. That's not good. It might be the really bad mixing I did with the synth and the strings. FORGIVE ME SENPAI

Well that sound good in some moments but in general it is far from perfect. Tempo enough fast but track is not vigorous.

LunacyEcho responds:

Yeah, this wasn't really written with production quality in mind. It was the first "real" song I wrote in Logic; gotta understand how to compose before you learn how to produce!

Oh, dude, that was... If be honest... Try harder next time if it possible. I know that it was hard for you but that was too soft dubstep. I mean that I have some "dubstep sence" and when I hear it my "dubstep sence" found nothing, exept "crow sream" and "woble".

LunacyEcho responds:

:D

It definitely wasn't a very good effort at dubstep. I'm not very good at it, and I wasn't in that much of a composing mood when I made it. :P

Still, I'm glad there were elements that made you feel like there was a 'dubstep scene'! Thanks for listening, anyhow.

Did you use FL studio to make this track? Sounds ehough mad!

Eshio responds:

Yes i use FL studio 10,thank you.

Ok, that's good! Now your sound enough clean, i don't want tell to you that previous sound was not enough clear, i just mean that now sound is better. Yeap!

LunacyEcho responds:

Thanks! I think one of the big advantages Logic Pro has is that its instruments are a lot better quality than Garageband's. Thanks for listening!

Enough fast, enough daring, i like it.

Nevrosia666 responds:

chekck out my soundcloud for more :D

Hip-Hop in Iraq.
Yeap. This track cool but intro is not.
I think that xylophone(is it piano?) is unnecessary in begining.

LunacyEcho responds:

:D Perhaps I may have misled you with my tags. The tags weren't supposed to be locations to imagine when listening to this song; it was supposed to be a reference to a few of the countries participating in the Gulf War, or Operation Desert Storm (titular reference).

I'm glad you enjoyed the track! When I wrote the intro, it was kind of a placeholder, since I wrote the chorus first, but I guess I kinda got used to it and it stuck. :/ That happens a LOT.

Thanks for listening!

Ahahaha, dj-dj! That sounds good.

NeoAlchemist247 responds:

Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed it.

Dude, this is n't metal :-)
Sound quality is not enough good. I mean that it sound is not enough deep. I think that is becouse you used Noteflight.
If you use soft for education try Magix(easy, cheap, good instrumentals, easy to work with voice and MIDI) or Cubase (not easy, not cheap, for proffesionals, good synthesizer).

LunacyEcho responds:

When did I say it was metal? :D I believe the tagline is "Classic Rock", which is under the "Metal/Rock" category. In other words, the "Metal/Rock" category contains tons of subgenres, Classic Rock being one of them. And I believe this is classic rock.

Yeah, the mixer on Noteflight is only available with a premium account, which I'm not that interested in investing in. I've already got Garageband as my primary music-making software, but those other options sound interesting. The thing is, I use a Mac, so lots of software doesn't work for me. :D Thanks for the suggestions, though!

Heh! That is interesting but it is t00 fast. Like roket train into space this sonds ... strange? :-)
Also, that is cool stuff like a coffee "two in one". And this track is n't in ska genre.

Next time try bongo! That is awsome stuff that is suitable everywhere.

P.S. I don't drink same coffee )

LunacyEcho responds:

:) Faster faster faster faster! Most of the stuff I do is pretty quick-tempoed. In hindsight, I really should slow down my songs more...

Personally, I think this song fits 'ska' pretty well. It's got the guitar on every other eighth note, the drum beat, the trumpets... the only spins I put on it where the synthesizer (very me) and the bagpipes (very LucidShadowDreamer). If two extra instruments makes it non-ska, then hey, it isn't ska. But I think the overall feeling of the song makes it belong in the ska genre.

Bongos! I really could've done a lot more with the percussion. I think I spent too much time trying to improve what I had rather than adding more cool stuff. :)

Thanks for the review!

P.S. I don't really drink coffee that much. :P
